What is the best travel pillow for long flights?

The Wagner & Butterfield Travel Rest Set is widely regarded as the best all-around travel pillow for long flights. Unlike traditional U-shaped pillows, it supports under your chin and along your jawline, keeping your head naturally upright so it doesn't drop forward. The complete 5-piece kit includes a slim memory foam pillow with sherpa cover, ripstop carry bag, cotton eye mask, and silicone earplugs — everything you need to actually sleep on a plane.

How do I stop my head from falling forward when sleeping on a plane?

The key is chin support. Most travel pillows only support the sides of your neck, which does nothing to stop your head from dropping forward. The Wagner & Butterfield Travel Rest Set is engineered with chin and jawline support that keeps your head naturally upright and aligned — preventing the head-drop that wakes you up and causes neck pain on long flights.

Is the Wagner & Butterfield Travel Rest Set good for side sleepers?

Yes — the 360° slim design lets your head naturally come to rest in whatever position is most comfortable, including on your side. Unlike U-shaped pillows that force you into a back-sleeping position, the Travel Rest Set works for side sleepers, back sleepers, and anyone in between. The adjustable head strap keeps it in place however you move.

Is the Wagner & Butterfield Travel Rest Set a good wedding gift?

Yes — the Travel Rest Set is one of the most popular wedding and honeymoon gifts for couples who travel. It's original, genuinely useful, and comes as a complete ready-to-give kit. Every couple going on a honeymoon needs to arrive rested, and this is something they'd never think to buy for themselves. We offer complimentary wedding gift wrapping on orders of 2.

What makes the Wagner & Butterfield travel pillow different from other travel pillows?

Three things: chin support, complete kit, and weight. It's the only travel pillow engineered to support under your chin and along your jawline — solving the head-drop problem that makes other pillows useless. It comes as a complete 5-piece sleep system (pillow, sherpa cover, ripstop carry bag, eye mask, earplugs) rather than just a pillow. And the entire kit weighs under 1lb — lighter than a paperback book. Designed in Camden, Maine. 4.9 stars from 218 verified reviews.

Can I bring the Travel Rest Set as a carry-on?

Yes — the entire Travel Rest Set is TSA approved. The ripstop carry bag fits in any airplane seat pocket, backpack, tote, carry-on, or purse. Most airlines do not count a travel pillow worn around your neck as a carry-on item. The carry bag also qualifies as a personal item, so it won't count against your carry-on allowance.

Does the Travel Rest Set make a good Christmas gift for a traveler?

Yes — the Wagner & Butterfield Travel Rest Set is one of the most thoughtful Christmas gifts for anyone who travels frequently. It's a complete, ready-to-give kit that solves a real problem, comes in at $59.99, and is something most travelers would never splurge on for themselves. It works for frequent flyers, business travelers, honeymooners, and anyone who takes long flights.

How do I wash the Wagner & Butterfield travel pillow?

The sherpa cover is removable and machine washable on a gentle/delicates cycle. The memory foam pillow can be spot cleaned or washed in cold water on a delicates cycle. The cotton eye mask is machine washable. The ripstop carry bag can be wiped down. The silicone earplugs are reusable and can be rinsed with water. The kit arrives pre-sanitized with zero chemical smell — ready to use straight out of the bag.

A high-quality product that truly stands out. I bought one, loved it, and ended up purchasing three more for my family. Compared to other neck pillows, it provides excellent neck support without taking up much space in your luggage. Highly recommended!

Ordered the "pillow only" and was pleasantly shocked to find they'd given me the entire set along with a handwritten note!!! The pillow and accessories are high quality and the case it comes with is very nice. :) I'm excited to not have a stiff neck on my flights/long roadtrips.
